Lewis Capaldi tickets and how to get yours for Cardiff concert

Earlier this month, Scottish sensation Lewis Capaldi made a surprise comeback on a Glastonbury stage, marking his first public appearance since taking a hiatus from the spotlight. Now, he's back with a renewed vigour; announcing a new single, album, and a series of tour dates scheduled for September this year in the process. This autumn, the Someone You Loved singer will be hitting some massive venues. This list includes London's O2 Arena, Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena and Cardiff's Utilita Arena. However, tickets for the arena tour were snapped up in record time, selling out swiftly as fans rushed to secure their spots. Despite an impressive offering of over 300,000 tickets across 17 dates, supply couldn't meet the overwhelming demand. Fortunately, tickets have now surfaced on various online retail platforms, including viagogo and Seat Unique, among others. Here's the breakdown of what fans need to know now. Viagogo and resale tickets Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs. Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused. How to buy Lewis Capaldi tickets now Tickets for Lewis Capaldi's concerts are currently up for grabs from various online outlets, including both official and resale platforms. The latter of which are fans' best bet to secure tickets at the drop of a hat. What's more, at present, resale platforms such as StubHub are offering tickets at approximately £150 each. Here are the links: For those keen on buying from official retailers, there are still options available there as well. While Ticketmaster may yet release more tickets (or put resale tickets on sale), none are available as of right now. With that said, it is worth keeping an eye on the ticketing giant's website for new additions to the website. Meanwhile, Seat Unique is stepping into the breach. This official retailer specialises in VIP and hospitality tickets, some of which come with complimentary food and drink, premium views, box seats, and much more. And, at the time of writing, they have plenty of tickets available right now, including some which come with early access to the venue, pre-gig entertainment, and access to VIP lounge areas. Woman sexually assaulted and beaten in 'appalling' holiday park attack

A man who physically and sexually assaulted a woman in Towyn has received an extended prison sentence. Ben Marshall, 34, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court earlier this month. He was charged with assault by penetration, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional strangulation, and harassment. Officers attended reports of a disturbance at the White House Leisure Park on March 23. They swiftly located the victim, who had sustained significant facial injuries after being repeatedly punched by Marshall. The woman also disclosed that Marshall had sexually assaulted her. You can sign up for all the latest court stories here Marshall was later located nearby and subsequently arrested and charged with multiple offences. After admitting the offences in court, Marshall, of Albion Street, Rochdale, was sentenced to 12 years and three months in prison. He will serve a mandatory term of eight years and two months before he is considered for release by a parole board - with the remainder of the sentence to be served on licence. Inspector Ben Garnett said: 'We utterly condemn the appalling violence and sexual abuse inflicted in this case. No one should ever experience such fear and harm, and our thoughts remain firmly with the victim as she continues to recover from this deeply traumatic ordeal. ' North Wales Police maintains a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of violence against women and girls. These crimes not only devastate lives - they erode trust and safety in our communities. "We are committed to relentlessly pursuing perpetrators and holding them fully accountable. The substantial sentence handed down by the court reflects the seriousness of the offences committed. "We continue to encourage anyone affected by sexual violence, or who has concerns for others, to come forward. You will be listened to, supported, and safeguarded.'

Gang plotted to steal vast quantities of fuel from North Wales depots

Two members of an organised crime group were today jailed for plotting to steal fuel worth hundreds of thousands of pounds from UK depots - including on Anglesey, and in Deeside and Wrexham. They would arrange for accomplices to siphon fuel into containers at night before taking it away on trucks to be sold. A judge today said the fuel had been "sloshing" about in unsafe containers and there could have been "catastrophic" consequences if anything had gone wrong. Mohammad Anwar, 39, and brother in-law Khalid Mohammed, 43, who was known as "Boss", were convicted of conspiracy to steal between October 1, 2020 and April 22, 2022. Mohammed Anwar also laundered £400,000 from proceeds. You can sign up for all the latest court stories here His partner Alimar Bibi, 36, who also laundered illicit money, was found with designer clothes and handbags but claimed she had been "naive" about where the money came from, which the court accepted. Prosecutor Ember Wong told Caernarfon Crown Court the organised crime group had stolen fuel "on a national scale" often at remote depots. It had been a sophisticated operation using multiple vehicles, cloned plates and electric pumps. She described 16 thefts, some from Iceland's depot on Deeside. North Wales Police investigated and it "became clear" an organised crime group, based in Birmingham, was at work from Anglesey to Hampshire. Ms Wong said there were in fact two fuel thefts at the Iceland depot on Deeside, on October 21 and October 22, 2020, when 13,181 litres were stolen by two accomplices - who have not been caught - of Anwar and Mohammed. Afterwards Anwar sent a message to a "customer" to say "gonna get 30,000 (litres) dropped in the next two weeks" which was about the amount of the Deeside thefts. The court also heard 19,822 litres of fuel were also stolen by Anwar and Mohammed's two accomplices from a depot in Sandycroft on December 8 and December 9, 2020. Spillages there cost £37,013 to clear up, said Ms Wong. The accomplices then stole 54,501 litres of fuel from Servus Energy in Wrexham between March 6 to March 8, 2021. Proceeds from the sale of the fuel were later transferred to Alimar Bibi's account, as happened on other occasions. Later in September 2021 the gang targeted GD Jones & Son on Anglesey. There they stole 32,000 litres of fuel worth £40,000. Police found discrepancies in the defendants' finances. Ms Wong said Khalid Mohammed declared an income of £12,378 from one employer and £6,327 from another firm. However bank statements during the conspiracy showed he was credited with £234,899. About £100,000 of that sum came from partner Bibi's account. Bibi's tax figures indicated she had an official income from "A&B Car Hire" of £50,000 in 2020 to 2022. But bank statements showed £259,000 in her account. Police found designer goods at her home, the court heard. Annabel Hale, for Mohammed Anwar, said he had been under financial pressure during Covid although accepted that is no excuse. There is another side to his character and he supports an orphanage in Pakistan, she added. William Douglas-Jones, defending Khalid Mohammed, said he played an operational role rather than heading the group. He apologises. He has a child and his mother is terminally ill. He is an enhanced prisoner and has been a "violence reduction orderly" while on remand. Elroy Claxton, for Bibi, said she had been naive and is deeply ashamed. There had been "loyalty based on her cultural upbringing", he added. The judge His Honour Timothy Petts said a large quantity of fuel had been "decanted" from depots into large plastic containers and transferred to lorries over 18 months across England and Wales. But the consequences of unsafely transporting the fuel as it "sloshed" in plastic containers in lorries could have been "catastrophic". Victims were disrupted and at a financial loss but also had to bear clean up costs. Mohammed Anwar, of Charles Road, East Handsworth, Birmingham, was jailed for five and a half years for conspiracy to steal. He also received five-year terms for each of two money laundering offences, to run concurrently. Khalid Mohammed, of Hugh Road, Birmingham, was jailed for three years and two months for conspiracy to steal. Alimar Bibi, of Terry Street, Dudley, was said to pose a low risk of re-offending and has three dependent children. She was given a two-year jail term, suspended for two years, for possession of criminal property and conspiring to transfer criminal property. North Wales Police said they did not have custody images of the defendants when asked by North Wales Live.

Brits not declaring these health conditions on travel insurance face huge bill risk

One in six holidaymakers admit they have not been completely honest about their health when purchasing travel insurance. While the research shows that a quarter of holidaymakers have travelled without insurance all together, a fifth have also travelled knowing they were not fully covered by their policy. The survey uncovered that a quarter of those going on holiday think it's acceptable to withhold information about non-severe health conditions to get cheaper insurance rates. Some cited the pressure to minimise holiday costs as a reason for excluding health details, especially if they were only seeking basic cover for cancellations or lost baggage. A representative from Staysure, the company behind the research, commented: "When buying a travel insurance policy, you want to know you'll be in safe hands if the worst should happen so be as honest and detailed as possible about your current health." Many travellers are unaware that they need to declare medications for weight loss or hormone replacement therapy (HRT), commonly used to treat menopause symptoms. Additionally, a quarter of those surveyed did not consider it necessary to disclose conditions such as high blood pressure, recent surgeries, or past severe heart or organ issues. "Many people don't realise that their NHS medical records are checked when they make a medical claim to verify their policy against their current health," added the spokesperson from Staysure. "Any undeclared medical conditions, or recent GP and hospital visits that are not covered on their policy could invalidate their cover - leaving them high and dry to foot a medical bill alone." Seven in ten confessed their biggest fear was having their claim turned down and being left stranded abroad with an unaffordable medical bill. The spokesperson continued: "Declaring all your medical conditions ensures you are financially protected if you need medical treatment abroad or repatriating home – last year the average cost of an air ambulance from Spain alone was £45,136." Overall, eight in ten said they considered their travel insurance good value, with a quarter having having previously submitted a claim. "We urge people to tell their insurer if they've recently seen a medical professional as not all heath changes will increase the price of their policy but may just save them thousands of pounds in unexpected medical costs." Menopause/HRT Weight loss drugs Hearing problems Arthritis Osteoarthritis Recent GP or hospital visits Chronic back pain Thyroid Issues Changes in health/medication alterations Mental health conditions
